- #11 месяц назадSo I ordered a few pre-orders back in July at this website call Big Bad Toy Store. Its been 3 months and the items are still not ready. I emailed them, but they say the delay is due to the pandemic. But I have seen some of my orders at other places, and I read some comments about people never received their package, So I am starting to get a little worried, and not sure if I should cancel the orders. Has anyone experienced with BBTS? Or has the same experience as me? I don't know if I should keep waiting.

Delays are just going to be everywhere (especially in US shops) due to the current situation. If I remember correctly, you can cancel without any fees or anything if you pre-ordered some items.

Actually some of my items have nonrefundable fees since they're a little pricy. I also read some comments about them just forever extending the arrival dates. Now I'm kinda worry lol

For example I order products by Weta Workshop, Sideshow Collectibles, Kotobukiya. Now this year all of said companies have had various delays. But you can also go to their respective sites and see "yes it is delayed." It isn't just BBTS being fraudulent. Hint: For US-based companies it would be very difficult to act fraudulently. Americans are very sue-happy and the laws and lawyers for things like this are crazy.
To my knowledge the only items BBTS requires non-refundable deposits are for the high-end legit businesses like Sideshow, Prime 1, Weta Workshop, etc. But that is standard for those companies, period. Counterexample: Kotobukiya is not high-end. Kotobukiya doesn't require NRD's, therefore BBTS doesn't charge you NRD's for Kotobukiya items.
I'd love an example of an item BBTS supposedly "keeps extending the release dates" on.
