Selling mine, always displayed in a glass display. She has some "fishnet" marks on the knee, she is like new except for that. Sold with her original package.
    PM offer.

Physical imprints left on the plastic due to how tight the fishnets were.
Not to mention this wasn't even pulled as high as the fishnets are in the prototype.
Also, it removed the coating on the skin, notice the sheen.

As if that wasn't bad enough, let us look at exhibit b.
Massive paint transfer from the stockings. and I mean MASSIVE.

Look at this, this is beyond ridiculous. First Freeing sends me a damaged box (on the inside, obviously not from shipping) due to incorrect packaging. Now they've proven to me that they've done absolutely nothing in terms of quality control. I may never buy another 1/4 scale from them again after this..
For anyone that hasn't had the misfortune of having this happen to their figure (yet) I have a solution for you.
I've bought these 1/3 scale doll stockings (which imo look far better than fishnets) from an ebay seller.

They are just loose enough to not destroy your figure. The looseness also accentuates some creases at the joints which make it look more realistic.
Edit: you should still soak these in stain remover or vinegar to remove excess ink.
I wish I had got these earlier...

Actually I had the same issue with #236363. When I received her, the package looked like as if she was removed then put back, they were scratches on the bunny ears . After having trouble dealing with them, they finally answer to say that there must have been an issue, since painting where missing from the nipples, they sent me another body, before telling me they couldn't send another base since all of their bases had scratches (glossy ones). At least now I have 2 body, one for the nude variant and the other for dressed variant lol. but damn...
I contacted the European communication director of goodsmiles who distribute FREEing, they told me it occurs a lot of times. Basically their control quality open boxes, do not care about carefully replace the figure and mess up the inside of the box. Oh well, I had dust in my box too. Hopefully now everything is alright, and my experience in painting figure allows me to correct the base. But honestly, I was really pi"""" off when I open the box.

EDIT: I was afraid to have marks on mine, so I removed the stockings, and like you, on the knees there are marks left in the plastic of the figure. THey really messed up. I'm thinking about cancelling the other pre-order and instead painting GK...

Thanks for the link. I was looking for some looser stockings for this figure because I didn't want to rip the originals by mistake.

Mikage might be Freeing's worst 1/4 from a QC perspective. Never had any problems with their Freezing girls (Elizabeth, both Satellizers), but my Mikage arrived with bad paint transfer on her hair and an odd melted-looking patch on her knee. It seems like the packaging wasn't strong enough to support her weight, so she moved around too much during shipment and got damaged.

I'll probably buy Freeing 1/4s in the future because of their sexy designs and fair prices at US distributors. But if Freeing lets me down again, I'll give up on them.

tilipitappi (2 года назад) #7067049Lighting matters a lot, of course if you shine sunlight straight into her cleavage it'll look worse compared to side lighted.
The stockings were quite tight, make sure the end (or the start? the widest part anyway) isn't curled up on itself and twist it around the leg, it'll go up slowly, took me maybe 10min per leg.

This helped me a ton! I was about to give up on the stockings before reading this
