CLAMP - Card Captor Sakura - Clow Card Set - 1/1 (Kodansha)

Can I ask a question regarding this. Is the color of the spine on the Kodansha 1999~2000 books supposedly bright red or a bit faded-off rustic red color?

If my memory serves me right, I've seen some Kodansha ones with bright red spines that aren't the 2015 "Perfect Reprint edition."
