Target.com has him in stock right now, and my local store had at least ten still on the shelves.

Olimar, Bowser Jr, and Dr. Mario all went up for pre-order at AmiAmi about an hour ago and no suprise they're already sold out.

This time I got really lucky and managed to pre-order Olimar and Dr. Mario. I'm not really into Bowser Jr., so I passed on him. Maybe it would have been good to use him as trade bait for other amiibo?

I'm guessing this will be a Walgreens exclusive in the US? LOL.
