RAH bodies are very durable but their joints have always been shit. Medicom is really stingy as they never put spare pegs in the box like Max Factory and GoodSmile do. And they denied me twice because this and the Senketsu version were no longer in production, and then they said they wouldn't support me anyways because I was an international customer.
Emotionally, it's really sad because even though Medicom sells generic hands/bodies, I'll never get replacement parts for any of the anime RAHs because they have unique paint, unique gestures, and grips that only fit her blade. After owning 4 RAHs for a few years now I can understand why some collectors don't like this series. I found a really old thread on Mediworld that was 56 freaking pages long full of people with broken RAHs...
Ryuko-chan I'm sorry I broke your wrist but it's still mostly Medicom's fault lol

My experience with Medicom support is very lacking as well and I have bought a large number of their products. The older bodies have EXTREMELY brittle joints for sure, and because of their refusal to not only sell parts but also just help advise what other parts may fit (and I mean the most basic of info, like if the body of L was the same as the body style of any other figure - they wouldn't tell me anything at all), i.e. they literally just refuse any form of help or direction for every single question because I'm from the US and they don't support international customers). Is very sad....as I'm a big fan, so kinda sucks to get just blown off like that after you've invested so much in their stuff and love their work.

BUT, that has not deterred me, instead I've just dumped more money into their products (which does annoy me to an extent, but oh well I love them and no one else offers this variety of 1/6 scale anime articulated figures - so what do you do). But you can look at some of my blogs here on MFC, as I've had to replace a variety of parts for many of my RAH figures. I often stalk Yahoo auctions (JP) and order RAH's that I really don't even care about when they pop up for good prices, just so I can buy them and use their spare parts (joints, pegs, etc.). You just have to be careful which ones you buy, as they changed the bodies, neck connectors, and pegs for hands many times over the years. Their AoT line for example, are thinner, so they use super small and easily breakable pegs for the hands, where other were much thicker and more durable. Yet their Death Note figures for example, are thicker, but are universally known to have shoulder and hip damage (as well as their Roy Mutang for example) -- the joints just crumble and one day the leg falls off.

I've replaced both legs on my Light figure, a shoulder on my L figure, both shoulders on my Ginko (Mushishi) figure, had to buy extra AoT bodies to replace hands that broke on my Levi and am still stocking up on spares figures any chance I get. If you can find a body made in 2012 or after, those are the better ones to go for to use as replacement parts (just note the AoT for example uses even thinner bodies / parts - so there are a few one-offs like this - but the 2012 bodies have a lower risk of the hip/shoulder crumble problems - and even then some parts may require some custom tweaks to make them fit other bodies). I've found the Mad Hatter to be a good replacement body, as you can often find him for $50 - and maybe you can sell the clothes / head to help recoup some of the costs for some of these. I will note he was made in 2010 though, so he may eventually have the same crumble issues, but the two spares I've purchased so far were brand new never opened for $50 and haven't crumbled yet, so we'll see.

Anyway just some thoughts. Good luck with your repairs, they are possible, but may take a lot of research or trial and error since the manufacturer doesn't really offer much support or information on what other figures may have similar parts nor offer replacements (though I have heard some success stories, but they were absolutely zero help for me). :(

Goodness gracious, looking at eBay prices on this out of curiosity, $2k for used and $4000+ for new? Madness! Don’t tell my husband he’ll force me to sell her XD
I still wish Medicom had just made the last one in their lineup (Ryuko in untransformed Senketsu). I’ll just keep saying it, I’m so bitter.
