Yeah, I can’t help but agree. I only buy 2-3 inexpensive figures a year now (not counting little gashapons and accessories), instead of what I used to drop on them, which was a LOT per year. I preorder expensive ones like this one now rarely, and only when I can afford a treat to myself. Plus my financial situation over the past couple years has been a little rocky, so that meant curbing a lot of geek crap I usually buy en masse.

I would not say it's relatively inexpensive for a modern figure, but it's kind of standard price now I suppose, yes... Eventhought the "Exclusive mention" add around 2000 yens to the price tag, whereas standard figures have generaly a little shop reduction. At 13000 yens, we still can get something a little more complex... Although, I'm very tempted by this Nami, I was so waiting for such a line when prices was still OK... but I already ordered Koto's Roy and Miyuki's Rena, and shipping are more expensive too because of Fu....g Covid!

Been re-reading OP and I am sooo tempted to get this Nami, she feels really true to character here. I'm not super familiar with the POP series - does anyone know if the playback line fits some of the other POP lines?
