Ishtar is a goddess of fertility and war in Babylonian mythology. She was a favorite among the gods and had numorous lovers. She attempted to woo Gilgamesh but was met with nothing but rejection which sent her into a rage. She sent atrocities towards Uruk as punishment for his refusal. Her efforts met with failure but she did accomplish the death of Enkidu.

In Fate/Grand Order Ishtar is able to become a psuedo-servant by possessing Rin Tohsaka as she is a compatible vessel. Her personality softened from Rin's influence.

Ishtar is available for summoning in the Christmas 2016 Event and New Year 2017 Summoning Campaign.
