Ebay all the way. It's not a perfect system (what is?) and there is plenty to complain about. Such as "Fee-bay" but ebay listings are viewable to millions of ebay users so as long as the price is right (and fair) it is easy to sell.

From a common sense / business stand point I'd just make sure you have all your documentation in order. In short you want to be ready to prove you are correct "in a court of law" in the event a buyer complains about anything. Arrived damaged? Ask for them to provide pics of the official "arrived damage" label. Do they want to return a damaged-in-transit item? Make absolute sure you get the same item you sent, preventing a "buyer swap out." This is the just the beginning, but just think out every possibility and just prepare for it.

I've sold more than 150 figures now and have had zero big problems. Just minor issues here and there, easily fixable. :)

if you sell a lot then you may want to sign up for the 3 month plan that lets you do unlimited Ads and also much bigger mailbox.
In terms of shipping, I always pick a service with tracking number. packing with packets of air tends to protect the item well, I haven't gotten a single complaint for over 60 items I've sold.
I did get into a mess in ebay once when one item is being shuffled between 3 post offices in an unending loop. that required me to call those post offices (I googled their zip code for phone numbers). it caused a lot of frustration for the buyer and used up 3 of my days.

dang...thats some dedication right there. For nendoroids, i put it in a ziploc bag to prevent water damage and stuff some bubble wrap in there and call it a day. havent got a complaint...yet. For scales, i actually bother to wrap them and use air bags/padding with some bubble wrap and those bland looking wrapping paper.

Havent had a complaint nor issue, even when i use untracked shipping...which im grateful for.

tbh...i only use ebay if i cant manage to sell my stuff here on mfc. I try not to use ebay bc their selling fees are ass, their customer service is too, and alot of the customers on there are impatient asf. Cant deal w their bs. But yeah...if i really cant find a buyer here, then ill resort to mf shitty ebay

To be honest, PayPal seller protection is kind of known as a joke, b/c a buyer COULD be totally dishonest and screw you over. This does sometimes happen, however, it is not common, in my experience.

I keep a private list on here of my sold items, and it's up to 371 and I have NEVER had a buyer try to scam me. I've only had any problems (damage during shipment / defect that I didn't catch that the buyer asked about) probably fewer than 10 times (in those cases I offered full or partial refund depending on what the problem was).

My personal take is that if losing out on the figure and the money due to a scammer or major problem would financially break you, then maybe just don't risk it ... however, honestly, the risk is pretty low.

For me its not that difficult. The shipping is not bad if I sell within the US. I sell through Paypal G&S, so its been going well :)
