Its already insane for Canada. Honestly this is rapidly becoming a hobby not worth the money sadly.

for me, my prices for DHL have actually been cheaper than EMS for the past few months since EMS came back; i assume this is for the holidays, so i hope it goes down in the future - but ill probably still use them if they equal to EMS. honestly im scared of using USPS/EMS during the holidays so DHL kind of has a security blanket for me since my local DHL carriers are pretty nice and they never have fucked with my packages before, so i guess ill just have to accept the increase for the next few months. i hope this increase doesnt stay forever though, shipping already kills me regardless lol :( my loyalty to amiami and my preorders stays i suppose lmfaoI live in the US as well, east coast though, Dhl has always been $20-30 cheaper, 2-5 days quicker, and the packages do not arrive with wierd holes in the sides. Even when ordering through proxy services DHL has saved me from having to pay $120 to ship some manga I payed no more than $25 for.
Honestly, I also am going to continue to use DHL, it will likely only be a bit pricier than EMS depending on the size of the package and hopefully after this holiday season ends prices will lower again. Prices are rising for figures and shipping right now so it isn't too much of a surprise.

This is a direct attack on America. Gah!

aaaaaa I really hope this is a temporary thing and not a permanent thing!! I need to cancel some pre-orders and look elsewhere to re-order them :(

Aw man :') DHL is my preferred shipping and I'm gonna start dealing with larger packages from December on well into 2022...
I get it but it's likely way too much wishful thinking to hope it's just a holiday measure.

I'm gonna guess fuel costs are definitely a factor and nothing that the common person or even DHL can do about that.

I pretty much have to use DHL because I just don't trust EMS enough to use it unless I have to right now and I refuse to use slower methods at this time. I really don't want it to come to it but might have to have a coming to jesus moment over some cancellations for 2022 POs at least.

In the UK, hardly ever use DHL to expensive for a couple of days early

Mostly SAL, EPacket, EMS, Registered air as they still usually arrive within a week of being sent.

Well this is not good news. For DHL to where i am in AUS usually cost around $100 to $200 depending and sometimes it was the only options for shipping. If they say its gonna be more expensive then that I'm going elsewhere.
