I think you're asking for the whereabouts of the JAEPO www.jaepo.jp/to...
The japanese amusement expo, which is usually held each seasonal quarter.
The next prize Fair would have been #60 even.
Can't find any actual news about a delay or if companies decide to make social media announcements only?
At least Sega has very active twitter accounts, but this reminded me right now that they suspended new announcements until the end of the current lockdown in japan, which is planned after golden week, for the 7th may.
So i would expect that the next event is cancelled or postponed.
If anyone finds news if events can be held regularly after that date we could expect one early may, if they suspended bigger events like most countries did we'll probably have to wait until late summer/ early autumn ... .
    Edit: ninja'd

I would argue that this isn't a typo as they are both called Japan Expo, and I did state clearly the figure festival but I understand where the confusion has come from. :)

I believe it’s called jaepo on its website :)

    AAAAAH! I get it now!
You were talking about the Japan Amusement Expo www.jaepo.jp/to... , not the Japan Expo!
Those are two different conventions! Next time, please use the correct name in order to avoid confusion!

Are we talking about the same Japan Expo, by any chance?
When you speak about Japan Expo, this is the festival I'm thinking about: www.japan-expo-...
I don't remember Sega and Banpresto showcasing new prize figures there.

Wonfes was already delayed due to the olympics but I was referring to the prize figure festival

There was what, last year at Japan Expo that showcased new figures, from what I remember? Good Smile Company, Square Enix, and Oniri Creations? I think that was about it.
As for "otaku" conventions in France, the last major one that comes to mind that still has a little chance to happen this year would be the Toulouse Game Show, it's scheduled on November 28th and 29th 2020.
(And even then I wouldn't call the Toulouse Game Show a real Japanese-themed convention anymore. It's been several years since it mostly shifted focus towards Western sci-fi geek stuff. >_> And figure manufacturers never showcase there anyway.)
