You know when you just have one of those days where you feel like trying something new and feel a sense of excitement and energy?

Today was one of those days and I decided to purchase my first Dollfie.
eBay was the first place I looked and I saw one that looked really nice. It was a Volks Dollfie Dream and I bought it... without finishing the description.

Basically I ended up buying just the head, wig and eyes with no body.

Now I have a bodiless dollfie oh boy here we go

So if anyone knows where I can buy a body for one (for a good price) let me know because oh boy I spent a lot on just a HEAD so I’m gonna have to wait a while to even consider buying a body.

Tbh this is actually really funny to me but also sad because I was so excited.

Has anyone ever made a silly mistake like this before?

Mandarake: Like someone stated earlier, you should check the description of the body to see if it's used, has loose joints or cracks, or smells of cigarettes, etc.
VolksUSA: If you live in the US, this is an option. Volks offical US website.
Volks International Website: If you live outside of the US, then use this website. Items are listed and I believe sold in yen.
Also, if it's okay for me to ask, what head did you end up buying?

Thanks for the tips!
I ended up buying a DDH09 head

I wouldn't consider that a mistake! I know many first time Dollfie Dream owners will build a character from different parts (buy a head first and work up to buying a body) so you're still on the right track! :3 it can be a little more difficult than buying a ready made character doll but I'm sure folks will have plenty of advice to share!

Bodies directly from Volks go for about 350 from Volks USA. For another option; Mandarake also has some bodies that are a little less expensive.

What skin tone is the head you got? White, Semi white, Flesh(normal)? Just be sure you match the skin to the body and it should all go well :)

Edit- adding a link for Volks Int As some prefer the Japanese store. And depending on your location it may be a bit cheaper that way.

While I've not had any purchasing mishaps like that I can help finding a body. You can get some pretty decently priced used bodies on Mandarake :) Just be sure to check out the photos and read the descriptions for any potential damage they may have and also to confirm they're the right skin/vinyl colour for the head you have.
