Комментарии DIY Making a Horror Scene Diorama Part 1

  • Using blackboard paint for a matte dark finish is so smart! Seeing a more creepy diorama is also very intriguing, I'll be looking out for the pictures with this setpiece.

Rajke2 года назад#37441739Thanks. :) The next blog is in the making. The casing is ready (and sturdy, it can hold easily some figures itself on top.) and the lights are installed today after some photo attempts to see how and where the light would be coming. The next thing would be the props.

Sounds good! Best of luck with the finishing touches. :)

Rajke2 года назад#35510798Thanks, it is really fun to make this diorama. :D The figures that are my ispiration are Rem and Ram. Those are the first figma's that i will use in this diorama. But if i find figma or 1/10 figures that fit better then Rem or Ram then i will use those instead.
Very well. I look forward to those pictures then :3

Thanks and thank you for your inspirational blog :D . The base is indeed inspired by your work. I couldn't do it with a router but your blog did sets a target for me and i have practiced a lot to find out how i could get it as realistic as you did. Also the idea for a darker floor comes from your blog. I love the color of your base.
The broken glass piece was something i came up with when i was looking for something that could go for glass. Then i remembered the box of ITEM #181549 . This figure is owned by my brother and is still in his box. I see it regularly and i thought about this figure when i was thinking about making glass pieces.
I am curious about the result of the side and front panel too. I have some ideas that i want to try and i am curious how they will turn out. When the times comes i will make some nice pictures. :D

Haha...well you're very welcome! I'm just happy someone else found it useful! :D I am very excited to see the rest when you get it finished too...it looks so awesome already!! :D You did a fantastic job! :D And I just love the glass!! You definitely inspired me on that one...looks great!! :D

Thanks. I am satisfied by the results myself but i have a lot to do. I work part for part to keep myself sharp. Also seeing some results midway raises the motivation.

Thanks. The way to put creativity into reality is to write your ideas down from time to time. Before i started working on this project i took my time to search for ideas and information and wrote them down. Because i can't draw i describe what i want to create. With a lot of willpower, practicing and patience you can do a lot. :D Also having a source to trigger your creativity is something i would recommend. The dioramansion and the idea of this project started with an attraction that is called Spookslot created by a person named Anton Pieck. I have seen this attraction multiple times and i made multiple photo's of it, observing the mood that was hanging around it and how the people reacts on it. Making something with the same feeling but without copying him is my target for this project.
Heldrik2 года назад#35513400Simple but efficient and nice, it kinda look like a scene you'd see in an early 2000's slasher flick.
Thanks. I didn't notice it myself but you are right. The scene has indeed the same kind of style used in the early 2000 slasher flick. (Good old times XD)
